Now on to the swatches...

Girl About Town, Impassioned, Saint Germain, Please Me,
Russian Red, Morange, RazzleDazzler, Peachstock, Rebel
Now to show how much the lipstick shades actually match the lipglass shades...
Pink Nouveau l/s and Pink Nouveau l/g
Overall im pretty pleased with the shades I chose. I do however, regret not ordering Angel, and Spice lipglasses. I definitely plan on getting those 2 as well.
Will you be purchasing anything from this collection? If so, what do you have in mind?

Dupe Alert: Mac 225 brush vs Inglot 4S brush
Sunday, April 22, 2012 Labels: 225, 4S, brush, dupe, Inglot, mac, Petrilude, reviews
The Mac 225 brush is a staple of mine. It's a couple times larger than Mac's 224 brush. Its a tapered blending eyeshadow brush, but I happen to use and love it for applying and setting my under eye concealer. Sadly it has been discontinued. I own 2 of them, but thought it would be great to search for a good dupe. Once I googled it, I came across the lovely Petrilude on Youtube and he had a video up recommending Inglot's 4S brush. After watching his video where he showed comparisons I knew that this was "the" brush, and I had to have it. As mentioned in a previous post I made a trip to Inglot and picked up this brush along with some other things. I came home and compared the 2 and they are indeed great dupes! Aside of the different color bristles, they're almost identical. Mac's 225 brush when available was $36, whereas Inglot's 4S is only $22. Great price!
Do you own Mac's 225 brush? How about Inglot's 4S brush?

Rihanna Pink Bold Lip
Monday, April 9, 2012 Labels: bold lip, lipstick, makeup looks, pink, Rihanna, smokey eyeI loves me some Rihanna! Her style is simply amazing, and her makeup is always on point! Simple sort of nude eye, that was amped up with dark liner and mascara to give a sort of smokey eye effect, with a bold pink lip to pull it all together. I definitely look forward to recreating this look on my next night out :)
I recently shared my Urban Decay haul from Hautelook. To see the items I purchased click HERE. And for swatches of the items check out this post and this post. Im a fan of Urban Decay and these same items are back on sale starting today and ending 4/11. Another huge plus is that the prices are even lower than what I had gotten them for! Lucky for you guys :) Sign up here today, completely free to take advantage of Urban Decay's lovely sale, as well as many others! Enjoy :)
Dupe Alert: Mac Party Parrot, Pink Pigeon, Quick Sizzle, Reel Sexy
Saturday, April 7, 2012 Labels: gotta dash, mac, Mattese Elite, party parrot, pink pigeon, porn star, reel sexy, Rickys NYC, swatches
I was introduced to another brand of makeup recently. Mattese Elite. I made a post showing all the items from my haul, along with swatches. To view the post click HERE. After doing swatches I immediately realized a few shades were similar.
Mac Party Parrot, ME Ecstasy
Mac Pink Pigeon, ME Porn Star, Mac Quick Sizzle
Mac Reel Sexy, Mac Gotta Dash
Mac Party Parrot and Mattese Elite's Ecstasy are exact dupes!! I had to reswatch just to make sure I had the correct names for each shade. The only obvious difference is the finish. Party Parrot is a matte and Ecstasy has a bit of sheen to it. Now Porn Star is a mix of Quick Sizzle and Pink Pigeon. The photo shows is to be much darker than Pink Pigeon, but it really isn't. In real life they look very close in color. Quick Sizzle is just a tad bit darker. A really pretty lipstick that I know i'll be reaching for a lot this spring/summer! And lastly, Mac Reel Sexy verses Gotta Dash. Reel Sexy is a tad bit lighter than Gotta Dash. It has more of a white base to it. The difference isn't as major as the photo makes it seem. The flash picked up the white based side of Reel Sexy. Gotta Dash is from Mac's Sheen Supreme collection so it has more shine, and isn't as pigmented as the amplified Reel Sexy. I actually find Gotta Dash more suitable for my NC50 complexion. I can just apply and go. With Reel Sexy I have to use a liner to tone it down a bit. To purchase any of the Mattese Elite lipsticks above check out Rickys NYC online.
Hope this post was helpful for those that missed out on any of the Mac LE lipsticks above.

Sweet Heat, Star Quality, Heroine
Sweet Heat, Heroine, Star Quality
Comparison Purples
Heroine, Spitfire, Violetta
Comparison Swatches
Heroine, Spitfire, Violetta
This is my second order from the new Mac collections that launched April 5th. I had initially skipped these items, but decided to pick them up after all. Heroine and Violetta are pretty similar, but definitely different. Heroine is a matte, and Violetta is a Amplified. Violetta is also a tad bit darker with a shimmer sort of metallic look to it. I wasn't too fond of Violetta for some reason, but I love Heroine. Its eveything I wanted Violetta to be :) To see the previous items I picked up from Mac's newly released collections, along with swatches click HERE.
What do you think of Heroine lipstick?
Inglot Swatches: Eyeshadows, Lipsticks, Gel Liner
Sunday, April 1, 2012 Labels: AMC, DS, Freeddom palette, Gel liner, Inglot, Matte, reviews, Shine, swatches
As I stated in a previous POST, I finally visited Inglot in NYC and made my first long awaited purchases. Below are the items I picked up, along with swatches... Enjoy :)
397 Pearl, 11 AMC Shine, 402 Pearl, 329 Matte, DS474, AMC 15, Matte 383, DS 464
440 Pearl, AMC Shine 48, Matte 334, Matte 325, DS477, Matte 384 AMC Shine 17, DS 504
DS 480, AMC 68, DS 483, AMC 63
Lipstick 419, 150
Gel liner Matte 77
20 Eyeshadow Freedom Palette $120
Lipstick $12 (each)
Gel Eyeliner Matte $12
This brand has quality makeup at really great prices. Great deals for the amount of product that you get, along with the amazing pigmentation. Of course they do offer other size palettes, as well as the product being available in pot form. It's more costly that way, but still reasonably priced for someone just looking to grab a few shades. The 2 lipsticks, that I decided to get are really pigmented as well. And the Gel liner, is officially my new fav!! I was a fan of Mac's blacktrack for years, but all I reach for is this one now. I love it! Check out their website for more details, and check out all of the shades, along with all of the other makeup products that they offer. I'm really pleased with this brand thus far, and plan to make a few more purchases from them down the line.
One tip I must give is that if you do end up purchasing any of the Freedom palettes, do arrange them in order prior to placing them inside. They're magnetic and aren't that easy to take out. I happened to damage a few when trying to move them around. But aside of that... A-MA-ZING!!
Do you own any products from Inglot? What are your thoughts on this brand?
