Hey Sailor Haul & Swatches: Part 2

Mac Nude Lipstick Swatches: WOC Friendly

I had a request to share my Mac nude lipstick collection. Below are the shades that I would consider nude on my NC50 complexion. I have a variation of skin-tone nudes, brownish nudes, as well as pinky nudes. Some, when worn have to be toned down with a liner, while others can be worn alone.

Creme D' Nude, Fresh Brew, Half n Half, *Call My Bluff

Gelish Harmony Soak Off: Tiki Tiki Laranga

Wednesday, May 30, 2012

I have been getting Gel manicures for over a year now. The salon I would go to charges $35 per application (not including tip) and I would get them done every 2-3 weeks. After realizing how much I was spending, I decided to invest in the products and begin doing them myself. This has only been my second time doing my own nails, but I can already see this is an investment well worth it!! After about 2 months it'll pretty much have paid for itself!

Seya Professional Rolling Makeup Case with Drawers

Thursday, May 24, 2012

I recently purchased this makeup case as I was in need of one for whenever I book any freelance jobs. I came across this one after searching the web for one suitable for me, and I figured it was exactly what I was looking for. I searched a few sites and came across a seller on Amazon that had the color I was looking for (black) in stock.

Real Technique Buffing Brush & Expert Face Brush Comparison

Friday, May 4, 2012

 Top: Expert face brush
Bottom: Buffing brush

 Top: Buffing brush
Bottom: Expert face brush

 Expert face brush                                                         Buffing brush

As you can see from the photos above the Expert face brush pretty much seems like a smaller version of the Buffing brush. The Buffing brush is clearly bigger, and more round, whereas the Expert face brush is more of an oval shape. Both are pretty dense as well. I have yet to try the Expert face brush, but I have high hopes that it will be just as amazing as the buffing one of which I happen love!!

Do you own either of these brushes? If so, i'd love to know your thoughts :)
